Microsoft recommends to use LTSC only for special IT environments/situations, while WFBS is designed to work in normal IT environments. There are currently 3 releases of LTSC: one in 2015 (version 1507), one in 2016 (version 1607) and one in 2018 (version 1809).However, this does not mean that the WFBS version supporting that LTSC version will have a lifecycle that supports the entire LTSC OS lifecycle itself and we cannot guarantee anything in the distant future. For example, build 1809 for Windows 10 is supported by WFBS which means it’s equivalent LTSC version which is version 2019 should also be supported.Worry-Free Business Security On-Premise supports Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC releases if the SAC version running on the system is also supported by the product. Security updates, optimizations, and other minor updates or patches are released every month thereafter.
These updates contain new features, services, and other major changes. On the other hand, Windows 10 devices in the Semi-Annual Channel receive twice-yearly feature updates. Each release is supported with security updates for 10 years after its release, and intentionally receive no feature updates.
